Dobrodošli v OpenStreetMap

OpenStreetMap je projekt, katerega prvenstveni cilj je zagotoviti prosto dostopne geografske podatke - zemljevide cest uporabnikom. Projekt je bil začet, ker ima večina obstoječih zemljevidov pravno in tehnično omejeno uporabnost, čeprav to na prvi pogled ni očitno. Te omejitve obstoječih zemljevidov uporabnikom onemogočajo prosto, kreativno uporabo na doslej nepredvidene načine.
